Refusing an Offer

If you choose to refuse an offer made to you through Home Choice Plus, this will not affect any future bids you may make for properties.

However, you need to be aware that there is a very high demand and a low turnover of stock throughout the 6 districts, so it is possible that you may not be be successful the next time you bid.

If you refuse an offer of a home you will be asked the reason for this.  This helps us to monitor our service to our applicants.

If you have been accepted as homeless by a council in this partnership and you refuse a reasonable offer of a home, the Council may consider that they have discharged their duty under the Homelessness Legislation in that local area.
