Advertising Shared Ownership Properties

If you want to sell your Shared Ownership property, you should obtain written permission to do this from the Council or Housing Association, who owns the remaining share of your home.  Once you have written permission, you can advertise your property through an Estate Agent.

We are now offering you an additional way to advertise, which is through Home Choice Plus.

If you would like to advertise your property through Home Choice Plus, you will need to provide details of your property.  You can also include a photograph of your property.

Please email it to:

• The photograph must be sent to us in jpeg format. 
• You will need to include your telephone number on the advert, so people can contact you direct.
• Your property will be advertised for 2 months, or until you notify us that you have been successful and found a potential purchaser. 
• At the end of the 2 months we will review your application to find our whether you have been successful. 
• If you have not found a purchaser, you will be contacted and asked if you wish to advertise your property further.
